On May 1st, the Challenge Question asked about a technique to collect expert opinion without allowing any one expert to dominate the discussion. The answer is simple -- the Delphi Method or Technique. With this method, a moderate distributes questionnaires to the participants, collects the results, summarizes them, and then distributes clarifying questions. This way every opinion is considered and the moderator guides the team to consensus. This method was used by John F. Kennedy to set the goal for a manned moon landing.
